Fever is shaking strongly all spectators of the fastest-growing basketball league in the world – Big3. The game that will tip off the new Fireball season will be played on 18 June when Trilogy, current champions, are taking Triplets, champions from 2019, in Credit Union Arena 1 in the windy city of Chicago.
Trilogy will have to face absence of Jarret Jack who was one of the key players from last season. This team signed on draft Earl Clark to be their co-captain in an attempt to defend the title in tough competition. With experienced Isaiah Briscoe as their new signing, Trilogy is aiming for big goals in upcoming challenges. James White, last season’s co-captain, is now captain as Jarret Jack went to be an assistant coach in Phoenix Suns.
James “Flight” White is the only player in the history of Big3 Fireball to lift the trophy two times. He is famous because of his athleticism, and dunk skills.
Brothers Pergo, Jannero and Jeremy, are expected to contribute to the performance of the team with their connection and because they know each other very well. Triplets reinforced their roster with physically strong Ryan Hollins, who is powerful above the rim.
Triplets are coming into the new season with the officially best player in the last four seasons, Joe Johnson.
Joe Johnson was the best scorer in the previous meeting between those two teams. He had 26 points and 12 rebounds on his account. This 40-year-old player is by far the best-attacking player in the league history. Joe likes to find specific places on the court from which he can make a successful shot and that’s why he got the nickname “Iso Joe”.
Finally, all these facts are almost predicting a passionate fight at the beginning of something that’s promising to be the best season of Fireball ever.
