France will be the place where the second-level tournament takes place on Saturday. Commune in Paris will receive some of the best 3×3 basketball players in the world. Eaubonne Challenger is a qualification tournament for Utrecht Masters next month. You can see in the next couple of paragraphs in detail what is expected to be seen.
The qualification tournament for two spots in the main tournament will be held on August 27, 2022. Six teams will participate in two groups with three teams. Danube, Onil, and Rouen are in group A. Dusseldorf, Bordeaux, and Ermont are competing in group B. The best team from each pool moves on to the main competition.
The group stage fixtures are scheduled to be played on Saturday. There are going to be four pools with three teams. The first and second-placed teams in every group will progress to the quarterfinals phase.
Sakiai, Paris, and Tel-Aviv are attending group A. Jeddah, Trakai, and one team from qualification will be members of pool B. Vienna, Sansar, and NY Harlem will compete in group C. Partizan, Versailles, and a second team from qualifications tournament are participating in pool D.
Quarterfinals, semifinals, and final game are set to be played on August 28, 2022.
Vienna is the main favorite with inspired Stefan Stojacic. Austrian team finished as a runner-up at Sukhbaatar Challenger and won Edmonton Challenger. Stojacic teammate Filip Kramer is playing excellently recently and they have reasons to hope for title.
Sakiai has a powerful duo in Marcius Uzupis and Aurelijus Pukelis and they will be one of the favorites for first place in the tournament. They still didn’t justify expectations from their supporters.
Jeddah, the Saudi Arabian team, has a big concentration of talent and for sure is one of the main contenders for the title.
Partizan got a ticket already for the Utrecht Masters on September 24-25, 2022.
