The last Challenger in 2022 was played in Capivari de Baixo in Brazil during the previous weekend. After Ub’s victory in the previous Challenger in Tainan, we witnessed another interesting competition in a Brazilian city on November 12-13, 2022.
Sakiai Gulbele won the tournament and earned a card for Hong Kong Masters which will be held on November 26-27, 2022.
There were two qualifying pools where winners earned tickets for the main tournament.
Akademija, Limeira, and Vina del Mar were competing in qualifying group A.
Akademija came out as the winner of that contest.
Joinville, Rio Preto, and Santos fought for one more card in qualifying draw B and Joinville was the best team in that pool.
Group stage fixtures were played on Saturday.
Amsterdam and Akademija progressed to the elimination stage from group A.
Sakiai and Chicago were first-placed and second teams in pool B.
Partizan and Utsunomiya qualified from group C to the quarterfinals.
Paris and NY Harlem earned tickets for the Top 8 phase in pool D.
Quarterfinals, semifinals, and final games were set to be played on November 13, 2022.
Amsterdam won against Utsunomiya with 21-16. Paris beat Chicago with 17-14. Sakiai pulled out a 21-15 victory over NY Harlem. Partizan defeated Akademija with 21-12 in the last quarterfinal.
Amsterdam beat Paris with 20-18 in the first semifinal. Sakiai beat Partizan with 18-16.
The final game was between Amsterdam and Sakiai. Sakiai won against Amsterdam with 20-14.

Hong Kong Masters will be the first-ever held tournament in this country.
Aurelius Pukelis, the Sakiai player, won the MVP award and the best scorer of the competition was his teammate Marijus Uzupis with scored 39 points.
Runner-up Amsterdam will participate together with winner Sakiai, Ub, Liman, Antwerp, Riga, Vienna, Ulaanbaatar, Beijing, Kaoshiung, Yogyakarta Gojek, and Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Masters.
