After Masters in Prague, we have another thrilling contest in front of us. The event is going to be held in the city of Lausanne in Switzerland on August 19-20, 2022. Ub, the Serbian team, is dominating World Tour 2022 as they have won all three previous Masters.
Twelve teams will take place in the main draw on the upcoming weekend.
We can watch the first three pools with four teams each. The qualification will be held for one spot in group D and it is scheduled to be on Saturday. The contest includes Aachen, Bordeaux, and Girona.
All group stage games are set to be played on August 19,2022. Teams play against each other. The first two teams from each group will proceed to the quarterfinal.
Quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final game will be played on Sunday. Many teams are seeking trophy and this fact guarantees a good and fun tournament.
Ub, San Juan, and Lausanne are in group A.
Ub won the last 14 games on the World Tour and they want to overcome Novi Sad’s historical 32-game winning streak in 2018. San Juan shocked Ub last year in the final of the same tournament, so it will be interesting to see if they can repeat that. Lausanne is the host and they are not planning to be kind and hospitable.
Liman, Jeddah, and Dusseldorf are participating in group B.
Liman, another Serbian club, is having a great season on Challengers. They won all 20 games with four titles, but the situation with Masters is different. The team from Novi Sad finally has a complete roster. Jeddah let down supporter’s expectations in previous tournaments. Dusseldorf is slowly becoming apparent on the world stage and can make big upsets, for sure.
Group C is considered to be a group of death with a lot of quality. Antwerp, Ulaanbaatar, and Partizan will fight for two places that secure Final 8.
Belgian Antwerp is still looking for its first Master’s title. They disappointed in first Masters and now is time for improvement. Ulaanbaatar has oscillations in their game and results. Partizan positively shocked supporters and ended as runner-up in Prague.
Amsterdam, Sakai, and the qualification winner are members of group D.
Amsterdam is still lacking the consistency of appearing in big tournaments and this will be a chance to start again. Sakai is having a big concentration of talent in their squad and maybe this is a competition where they are going to show us their potential
Everything is ready for the beginning of Lausanne Masters, another explosive tournament in the World Tour.
