Which club was his first in NBA?
White was first picked by the Portland in 2006 and immediately sent to Indiana Pacers. James played there in the preseason, but things ended in a bad manner between him and the team. White James was released by the coach and club and he made deal right away with San Antonio Spurs in November of 2006.
His debut season in Spurs was more than turbulent. White was sent to NBA Development League to play in club Toros. James averaged 16.3 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1.67 steals during 15 played games.

White represented first time San Antonio in the game where his rival was Golden State Warriors. James scored 9 points and made 3 rebounds in 14 minutes during that game on March 26, 2007. James White was put in first lineup first time in his career when their place in the standings before playoff was already known.
He had career-high of 17 points, but his Spurs lost the game against Memphis with a 101-91 game. San Antonio won the league in that 2006/2007 season, but White was relinquished from the team in the summer of 2007.

James came to an idea to start international career. White made deal with Turkish club Fenerbahce to play for them in next four years. Fenerbahce made it to the quarterfinals in Euroleague, most prestigious European club competition, in 2007/2008.

James signed two 10-days contract with Houston in early 2009 before he put signature on a long term deal with Rockets in March 2009. That deal was ended temporarily because recovered Carl Landry came to the squad.
White found another club because he was drafted by the Maine Red Claws in the draft of the NBA development league. In autumn of 2009, this player was exchanged for the draft rights to Axel Hervelle. What happened with James in the second season?
Trilogy made one new signing ahead of start of second season – Dahntay Jones. Shooting guard Dahntay was added to their already strong squad. James White remained of course member of their roster in 2018. This team finished on devastating sixth place in Big3 standings with three wins and six losses. They were not even close to defending title.
Something didn’t work out in the team and chemistry between players was not on proper level. Only consolation for Trilogy was getting individual awards. White’s teammate Al Harrington was statistical leader in the league in category points per game and steals per game. Same player got Too Hard to Guard award.
Where did White play in the third season?
White stayed in Trilogy for the third season. Trilogy went into 2019 season with renovated roster. Jason Terry became captain and White remained co-captain of the team. Another co-captain was David Hawkins. In squad were also Patric O’Bryant, Sam Young, and Carlos Arroyo.
Trilogy ended seventh in the regular part of the season which was another disappointment. Their score was four wins and four losses. This team started having mental barrier to qualify for playoff. Only consolation and comforting reward was the fact that David Hawkins was statistical leader in Steals per game.
Where did James continue his Big3 career?
James White decided not to change his place of residence for the fourth season. Jarrett Jack became captain and Amir Johnson came to the squad as a co-captain. Metta World Peace (earlier called Ron Artest) and Isaiah Briscoe were picked in the 2021 Draft Pool. It turned out to be maybe crucial summer transfer window for Trilogy. Stephen Jackson was appointed as coach and that was winning formula for this team.
Trilogy finished fifth with 5-3 score in the regular season. This team competed in playoff and won the title in the thrilling final against Three Headed Monsters. Glory days were back.
