Its’ time for the hot culmination of the fifth season of Fireball. Players from four teams are moving to Tampa Bay where semifinal games will be played. There is no time for calculations, two teams will progress to the big final game, and two teams will end this season’s competition.
Let’s preview those two gigantic clashes that are scheduled for Sunday, August 14.
Aliens and Trilogy are playing the first semifinal. Those teams faced each other in Week 4 and Aliens won the game with 51-44. That fact doesn’t have to mean anything ahead of the upcoming fixture.
Aliens were struggling with the efficiency of long-distance shots during the season. Carlis Lasmanis and Dusan Bulut failed at that segment but were good at moving and passing.
The Trilogy was having a problem with free -throws and lacking scored three-point shots. Isaiah Briscoe, Amir Johnson, and Earl Clark are very dangerous in offensive part of game and inside the paint.
Nuances and little differences can decide here and chances are 50-50 literally in this tight game.
3 Headed Monsters and Power will participate in the second clash. They met each other in week 4 and 3 Headed Monsters defeated Power with 50-44.
Glen Rice Jr is a basic figure in Power as he can score from any position. Power relies on assists and they are possible the team that made the biggest number of layups.
3 Headed Monsters has in his squad the biggest favorite for MVP award and leading scorer of the fifth season – Kevin Murphy. The game will possibly be decided on one factor.
If Power succeeds to make good defense on Kevin, they have a solid chance to get a victory.
One thing is sure for this weekend’s semifinals. Every team has a great chance and opportunity to show their arsenal and clinch a win. Spectators will bite their nails during watching those fixtures in Tampa Bay. Fun is guaranteed.
