Forty-four games of the fifth season, great points, and assists are behind us. We know the two teams who will play in the final game for a champion of 2022 in Fireball. After the super-exciting semifinals in a playoff on Sunday in Tampa Bay, Trilogy and Power can prepare for the next Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia.
The first game was an absolute spectacle for supporters of Big3 project. Trilogy won against Aliens with 50-45.
Isaiah Briscoe is turning out to be the main player for Trilogy. His phenomenal performance in the first half gave a huge boost to the Trilogy. Isaiah eventually finished the game with 21 points. Earl Clark was the second top scorer in Trilogy with 18 points and fascinating 8 rebounds.
The strategy of Trilogy from the beginning was shutting Dusan Bulut, the main source of assists in the Aliens team.
Alien’s main star Dusan Bulut was stopped in the first couple of minutes of the game. Despite that, BulletProof stood up and ended the fixture with 15 points. A number of his assists he made here is one of the reasons why Aliens lost the game, though. Deshawn Stephens has been improving gradually over the season. Deshawn had 15 points and 6 rebounds, but that was not enough for victory.
Here are the highlights from that game:
Power beat 3 Headed Monsters with 51-49.
As we mentioned before, Kevin Murphy is the biggest candidate for getting the MVP award his season. Kevin repeated against Power one time why he is the favorite to become the best player in 2022 in Big3. Murphy scored amazing 28 points. Rashard Lewis, another 3 Headed Monsters player, made 11 rebounds. Unfortunately, nobody of his teammates didn’t follow him in that category of play.
3 Headed Monsters had a 49-46 advantage in the closing moments of the game. Power showed their team spirit many times this season and they didn’t allow losing game without a hard fight.
Every member of the team member contributed to the victory with rebounds and assists and deservedly got a ticket for Atlanta. Power has Glen Rice Jr who finished the game with 26 points. Glen became the hero of the game as he scored the decisive three point-shot and brought his team final game.
