The sixth edition of BIG3, a competition formed by hip-hop artist Ice Cube and entrepreneur Jeff Quatinetz, will start next summer. Fireball overcame many challenges in its history and became a very prominent and popular contest. Following two previous seasons with the semi-tour model, the BIG3 returns to a full arena touring model visiting cities nationwide.
This league continues to surprise spectators with innovations gaining attention all around the world. Last season’s winner Trilogy hopes to defend the title, but there are many other contenders to the throne. Let’s look where will games take place.
BIG3 announced the schedule for the 10-week campaign which will be held across the whole USA. The sixth season will tip off at United Center Arena in Chicago on June 25, 2023.
City Memphis will host for the first time fixtures of Ice Cube’s project, so the citizens will have the opportunity to see BIG3’s players live on July 15 in round 4.
Finally, Fireball will have a third appearance in Detroit and the first after 2019. Little Caesars Arena in Motor City is ready to welcome warmly all teams for week 8 on August 13, 2023.
Passionate lovers of this game will have the opportunity to witness an outdoor festival at the legendary gigantic Arthur Ash stadium in New York on July 9. There is no doubt that crowd will make an unforgettable atmosphere and push players to give their absolute maximum during that weekend.
League will later reveal locations for the semifinals of playoff and championship games which are scheduled to be held on August 19 and 26, respectively.
