Nancy Lieberman, a famous woman 3×3 basketball coach, is a recognizable figure in the world of American basketball. She was always aiming for big goals and targets in her player’s career and now in coach career. Currently deployed as a coach of Big3 team Power, she wants to strengthen her team.
She can achieve that because she drew number 1 at the lottery last night so she can choose pick number 1 in this year’s draft pool. Her luck continued that night because in the next round she picked the best possible position available to her. It was the number five peak so she has something to look forward to in the upcoming weeks. It seems that the upcoming fifth season will be good for her club Power if we judge that by the luck she had on Friday, May 13.
She said in her statement before the lottery that she is looking for a player who manages the ball when he has it in his possession, a player who can score points when needed. She also looks for players with high psychological abilities. Lady Magic, as they call her, is widely known for her tutorial skills and recognizing talents. Everybody appreciates her and she even played in a man’s team during her playing career. Nancy said that she is hoping Big3 will make four-point rules less strict as she maybe wants her team to shoot more from long distances in near future.
Many options can be new signings of her team and who will play alongside captain veteran Cuttino Mobley and co-captain Royce White. She will surely want to add a substitute who can adapt fast and have good chemistry with the previously mentioned players. Maybe it can be New Williams, a left-handed player with a strong constitution. Perhaps she will choose a player with a defensive orientation like 29 years-old KJ McDaniels who can give her extra value. Or even Quincy Miller who gained experience in many leagues across the world.
There is not so much time left before the draft pool on May 25 which will be held in Los Angeles. Stay tuned for exciting news regarding the most interesting league in the world of sports.
As you already know, Dusan Bulut and Glen “Big Baby” Davies will not play in next season for Power.
