NBA is always attracting huge attention from basketball audiences across the world. All NBA fans enjoyed watching stars like Tracy McGrady, Dwayne Wade, and many others during the 2000s. Their points, moves, and assists were bringing hot emotions to spectators.
One player also caught the eye of real basketball lovers in that period. It’s Amar’e Stoudemire, the star of many NBA giant teams. His appearance in Phoenix Suns and USA national squad was very visible and significant. Stoudemire later tried to play Big3 league. Stoudemire had a good year in his debut 2002/2003 season in the Suns. Amar’e scored 13.5 points and made 8.8 rebounds per game. This player had the best game regarding scored points against Minnesota Timberwolves. He scored amazing 38 points in December of 2022. Amar’e Stoudemire received the NBA’s Rookie of the Year Award.

Amar’e remained a member of Phoenix for 2003/2004. Stoudemire’s progress was visible in his second season in Arizona in statistical parameters. Doctors diagnosed damage to Stoudemire’s knee at the beginning of the 2005/2006 season. Amar’e needed surgery and his rehabilitation took more time than expected at the start. His comeback was good but soon it was revealed that he would miss the rest of the season.
His agent claimed that Stoudemire’s return was soon then it should be. The second recovering period was going well and Amare’s got the strength back. World Cup was organized in the summer of 2006 in Japan. Unfortunately, Amar’e Stoudemire missed the planetary championship.

Amar’e continued his stay in Phoenix Suns in 2006/2007. Stoudemire played his second All-Star Game In February of 2017. Amar’e Stoudemire had 29 points and 9 rebounds on his account in that game. He was right behind legendary Kobe Bryant in MVP of that All-Star weekend voting. Phoenix played the final of the Western Conference of that season against the San Antonio Spurs.
There was an altercation between Suns and Spurs players in one of those final games. Amar’e got suspension because of leaving the bench during this altercation. Stoudemire ended the 2006/2007 season with scoring 20.4 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.
What happened with this player in Phoenix Suns?
Stoudemire played in the FIBA AmeriCup in 2007. Amar’e didn’t participate in the Olympics in Beijing in 2008 due to previous injuries he had. This player exceeded his collaboration with a team from Arizona. The hero of our story was the real leader of the Suns in the 2007/2008 season.

What did Amar’e do after his NBA career?
Amar’e joined Big3, Cube’s and Kwatinetz’s project, in 2018. Stoudemire made deal with Tri State, a 3×3 team, ahead of the start of the second Fireball season. This player was appointed right away as captain of the team. Jermain O’Neil and Nate Robinson were co-captains of the team.
Tri State qualified for the semifinal of the playoff and lost the game against Power with 51-49. Tri State finished fourth as they were defeated in the game for the third place against 3 Headed Monsters with 52-49. This player had 8 points and 4 rebounds on his account per game.

Tri State finished the regular part of the third season with a 4-4 score. They finished in 8th place in the standings and didn’t participate in the playoff. Amar’e remained the captain of the squad, but couldn’t help the team to reach the best 4 with his performance.
