Gary Payton is the current coach of team Bivouac. This legendary ex-NBA player represented Seattle, Milwaukee, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, and Miami Heat in the position of a point guard. Gary is known as a very tempered personality and he is always ready to say what is in his thoughts.
Payton is respected among practically every basketball worker in the USA and wider. His dedication and commitment are appreciated and every player wants to be coached by him. Gary’s flaw is trash-talking which can distract players from what they have to do on the court.
Bivouac didn’t lift the trophy in the most prestigious 3×3 national league in the world. Three years long history of this team was not enough to achieve something like that. Board of the Bivouac tried different players to accomplish their dreams. Many rosters had a combination of immature and experienced players. Coaches were changing during their history.
Philosophies of play were different in past. It didn’t work out for now and the search for the best possible tactic is still present. We are sure that the cause of non-achievement will be found in near future. The persistence of everybody involved in Bivouac is evident and there is no reason why it wouldn’t pay off in the end.
